Abstract
The Holyoke Family Papers contain the correspondence and legal papers of early Holyoke relatives, including Edward Holioke, John Holyoke (1642-1711), Elizur Holyoke (1651-1711), and his wife Mary (Eliot) Holyoke. The papers also include Reverend Edward Holyoke's (1689-1769) sermons, business, legal and personal papers. The Osgood Family papers document five generations of the Osgood family of Salem, Massachusetts, including the shipping and business papers of John Osgood (1758-1826), shoemakers' ledgers of Nathaniel (1714-1799) and Christopher (1748-1828) Osgood, and John F. Osgood's (1825-1894) autobiography describing his international travels.
